Counted as 125% for loan qualification since it is considered non-taxable income. However the borrower must have been on disability for 3 months and it must continue for at least 3 years to be considered viable income for FHA loan qualification. The disability of any dependent children may also be counted however still must meet the rule that they have received disability for 3 months and that it will continue for at least 3 years.
