Converting CDs in trust fund for a downpayment 11 Months, 4 Weeks ago Karma: 0
Hello,

I would like to know the following:

I was told that I could transfer my CDs and IRA in a trust fund so I could you use without paying penalty for a downpayment to purchase an investment home.

1. Is this true?

2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it?

3. What is the procedures?

4. What is the best way to finance an investment property?

Thanks

You would need to consult an attorney or accountant for your question. Most of the laws I have seen make anyone investing pay one way or another. You can search current regulations here: www.findlaw.com
